How to Start Studying Kitab at-Tawheed
This is a companion to Class 01 — Part 01 in the Urdu Sharah Kitab at-Tawheed series. It is not a transcript or a substitute for the lesson; use it to approach the 35m 57s audio lesson with a clear route through the original book and the explanation.
Start with the lesson
Listen to Part 01 in full before treating this note as a revision aid. The lesson is the primary teaching; this page simply helps you navigate the text and continue in sequence.

- Kitab
- The book itself: Kitab at-Tawheed.
- Matn (المتن)
- The concise original Arabic text. Its chapters bring together the book’s headings and evidences.
- Sharah (شرح)
- An explanation of the original text. This Urdu series is a sharah, not a replacement for the book.
A practical way to use Part 01
- Open the opening text of the book or the Urdu reading edition before you begin.
- Listen without trying to write down everything. Mark only the terms or evidences you need to revisit.
- After listening, return to the cited text and read it slowly in the edition you use.
- Continue to Part 02 when you are ready; the two parts form Class 01 and are intended to be studied in order.
What to keep in your notes
Keep your notes small and tied to the lesson: unfamiliar Arabic terms, the evidence you want to review, and one question to ask a qualified teacher. This makes the next listening session more useful than copying a long summary without understanding it.
